Fronted by lead singer Dieter Samoy, Kill Baby, Kill! got their start in Belgium, all the way back in 2002 with a tape recorded demo of three original songs. After recording the demo nothing really happened with the band until Dieter decided to take things a little more seriously two years later and re-record those three same songs plus 2 more in a proper studio. At this time the band was going by the name Roadkill until they decided that name sucked just enough to change their name to Stronghold. Then they came to their senses once again and realized that the name Stronghold was way too overused and settling on the B horror movie title Kill Baby! Kill. Some time around late 2005 and early 2006 KBK released the five recorded songs on a split with English R.A.C. band English Rose. After the split was released KBK was being received as an act everyone had to see if they were a fan of R.A.C. In early 2008 they came out with their debut full length album entitled "Give Back The Oi!" which featured 11 new songs in the same style that defined the band from the split with English Rose. While KBK took the Skinhead scene by storm, the speculations of them being racists and Nazis echoed on every message board. Dieter's lyrics never shyed away from what he really thought on issues from race to welfare, but with their above standard music and imagery they always kept fans through thick and thin. With little time after "Give Back The Oi!" KBK came out with their next album "The Prophet Returns". The album kept the same pace on the music level but toned down the racially charged lyrics and subject matters. From this time on, KBK would never have a long enough period without a release for anyone to forget their name. Besides the releases already mentioned, Dieter and the band released two more full length albums and a hand full of splits and ep's. KBK was getting press from both sides of the Skinhead scene. The SHARP and left leaning crowd hated them with a passion, while absolutely everyone else in the scene wanted more. Unfortunately, the world saw an end to Kill Baby, Kill! in the early months of 2010 with the suicide of front-man Dieter Samoy. Dieter was tried and found guitly of an assualt crime that he was arrested for in 2006. He stood by his story of not being a contributer of the beatting of Raphael Mensah (52). However he did admit witnessing it, and instead of calling the authorites, he decided to run from the scene of the crime. He was working on getting a degree in teaching and focused on starting a future with his girlfriend Priscilla. Raphel Mensah spent one month in a coma after the beatting he recieved, and would die one year later from a pulmonary embolism. Doctors could never prove that the beatting, Dieter was acussed of, contributed to his death. However, family members of Mensah were reluctent to believe otherwise. Dieter knew that with a 2-year prison sentence on his name, he would never be able to use his teaching degree and thought that a happy future was nearly impossible. With the overwhelming amount of depression running though his head he decided to take his own life before serving his prison sentence. Friends and fans of the musician stared at their computer screens in disbelief while reading the news. At the same time some proud leftist skinheads didn't hesitate to put in their two cents about the singer/song writer with tastless jabs toward a dead young man. Whether you hated Dieter or loved him, one thing is for sure, his music was something almost every skinhead could relate to. With that being said, I highly doubt anyone will forget the band that was KILL BABY, KILL!.

Donars Groll is one of the only new viking rock bands around in the skinhead scene these days. If you're a fan of Ultima Thule, Midgårds Söner, or Enhärjarna, well then this band should also be on your radar. They just released a new album on MFS records witch should keep the fans and everyone else praising Odin. What's you name, age, what do you do in Donar's Groll, and what do you do for work? I´m Miesl, the singer and lead guitar player of Donars Groll. I´m 27 years old and a kid from the working class haha!
Can you give a quick history of the band? We started in 2004! I’m the last original member today. We have released 3 CDs and played many gigs. We will keep working hard through the future.
I do not have the new album yet, but I'm a big fan of your first album. How are the albums different? The difference? I think the new album is much better haha! The biggest difference is the line-up and this is the reason for the more modern, and better sound, and it’s the first album with me on vocals. Buy it and decide for yourself!
You released the new Album on "Mother Fucking Sounds" instead of "Pure Impact Records". Why the change? We like to work with different people. There is no special reason for this change. We are satisfied with both labels.
You are one of the only Viking Rock bands out right now in the Skinhead and Oi! scene. Why do you think that is? hmm...I don’t know. I wish there could be more of these bands today.
What are your to 5 favorite bands? Oh it’s difficult... I like lots of Bands like Ultima Thule, Enhärjarna, Discharger etc.
What band did not get enough credit while they were around? What current bands into? Donars Groll haha!!! That’s a difficult question. There are so many bands with a great sound and not enough credit.
What are your thought on; R.A.C.: we like the old style Drugs: Sex, beer and music are the only drugs for us haha! Odinism: Our culture! SHARP's: No thanks! America: We want to visit America and play for our supporters there
Will you be attending Live and Loud? What band are you most excited to see? Maybe we will visit it. There are great bands this year. We have played gigs with Endstufe and Steelcapped Strenght in the past. So we saw those bands in the past.
Any last words, thanks, shout outs? Thank you for this interview and good luck to you! Cheers to all people who like our music! Oi!

Skullhead got their start in 1984 in the Newcastle area. Labeled as a R.A.C. or White-Power band by most, front-man Kevin Turner frequently referred to Skullhead as a third party band. With elements of Oi!, Rock n' Roll, and Heavy Metal, their sound was very unique for the time and culture. Having ties with the National Front, and White Noise, Skullhead began to make waves quickly in the WP scene, gaining friendships with other bands, such as Skrewdriver, and Brutal Attack. Skullhead had close ties with the short lived zine "Unity", who gave exposure to new and upcoming R.A.C. bands, and shared there beliefs in Odinism. The main contributor to Unity would end up being arrested some time in the early 90's, and would forfeit the few existing copies to be burned. Some time in the late 80's or early 90's Kevin Turner served time at Acklington Prison, for assault on a man in Consett, UK. After the band called in quits in 1994, the members all went separate ways; Nick went on to play in some ska bands, Tim looks like he went on to play in some shitty ballad rock band, Spin went on to play in a very popular Street Rock n' Roll band(I would rather not say the name because I know they try to keep it toned down), and Kevin Turner probably went the most separate way by becoming a Techno MC. Going by the name MC Techno T, Kevin Turner would do his best attempt to rap over techno beats. In September of 2001, a British news paper outed Techno T to his fans, saying their favorite MC is actually the front-man of a very popular white-power band. A spokesman for "Tyne and Wear Anti-Fascist Association" would go one to say "We welcome the exposure of Kevin Turner who is known to have a history of race hate." Turner would give "Skullhead" a rebirth in 2002, with all new members, and stance that he said was not political in anyway. Kevin Turner is now a Buddhist and operates a tattoo parlor in Newcastle. I'm not sure if he has any plans to bring Skullhead back to life, but if he does, he's got plenty of support from me.

If you're a fan on Flatfoot 56, Flogging Molly, or any other band that mixes punk with Celtic folk, just add some more patriotic themes and lyrics, and you have "Suckered In". Hailing from Central PA, the front man, Chowder, puts everything on the line for your reading pleasure. Enjoy! 1.What's your name, age, and what do you do for a living? My name is Chris, a.k.a. Chowder, I will be 25 on June 8, 2010, and I currently work in the kitchen at a local coffee shop here in Central PA.
2.What are your hobbies other than making music for "Suckered In"? I also enjoy running, studying history, going to see other bands live, and traveling when I can.
3.The 2 videos you have made for "Suckered In" are just of you playing. Are there any other members to the band? Well, there have been a couple of temporary members that have come and gone since I started doing this back in 2007, but yes, the other member of the band is my good friend Raygun, who plays guitar and does backing vocals.
4.The sound of "Suckered In" is in my opinion a mix of Celtic, folk, and patriotic Oi!. Why not just make a straight Oi! band, or straight folk band? Well first of all, you would be correct in your assessment of what I'm shooting for, also adding some Classic Rock to the mix as well. And why not simply create one or the other? Well because, to me at least, Oi! is, at its root, a conservative form of folk music...kind of the antithesis to the whole "peace and love" thing, you know? That's not to say that Oi! is always violent or ignorant or something...but it IS hard and assertive. I had this idea kicking around in my head in a simpler form for awhile, but I really came across it more readily on the Music Ruined My Life Blog. I was reading a post about Frankie Flame, before he formed Superyob and was still with the Flames, and the blog mentioned Oi! being like folk music...and then compared it to Pete Seeger killing Bob Dylan at Newport in 1965 or some really good comparison like that...and it just got me thinking. And I think that's what draws me to putting the Folk and Oi! genres into one project...I'm trying to create extremely simple, passionate music that doesn't back down and let's you know exactly how it feels about things.
5.Is there an official release in the works for "Suckered In"? Yes there is. We are currently practicing and will soon be going into the studio to record our first EP. It will contain 6 songs, 5 originals and 1 cover, and I hope to have found a record label and distributor by the end of the summer. I will have more information as it becomes available, so watch the MySpace page.
6.Are there any other bands you're playing in? Or band you've played in from the past? I am not currently playing in any other bands, no. I don't really count the few short-lived bands I was in in high school, but I was in one other band when I used to live in FL called The Devil's Right Hand, which was no relation to the IN street rock band of the same name. Anyway, we were pretty bad, and we only lasted for 6 months or so. However, we did get to play with Hudson Falcons one time, and I can't say I didn't have a good time haha.
7.Most of the world looks at the people of America as money hungry, warmongering, fat, capitalist. With having such a patriotic theme, can you express your thought on this subject? Do I think this country is perfect? No. Like any other place it could use some improvement. However, I don't take kindly to the place where I was born and raised being insulted either. Money hungry? Well that seems to me to be endemic to the entire culture in the sense of teens wanting to be billionaires or scummy people like Amy Winehouse or Paris Hilton. Warmongering? I don't see it as warmongering to go after the people that hurt our country on 9/11 no, but I do think that keeping the war going in Iraq is pointless if we are still trying to locate Bin Laden. Fat? Hell I'm a tubby guy...so I guess that one's true haha. Capitalist? We're a capitalist country...so I guess that one's true too.
8.What are your thoughts on President Obama? Honestly? At this point I've become somewhat apathetic to Mr. Obama. I think both Obama and Bush were crap pretty much. Neither of them are doing or did what they promised to do. If Obama wants to create jobs, I'm all for that, as I feel that Americans need a way to support themselves. However, he hasn't really done that as of yet. I also don't see how continuing the war in Iraq is getting us anywhere, and I feel that pumping more money into an already inflated economy is in many ways a death sentence. Additionally, I don't like how race has become the central focus of this man's presidency. His race doesn't make him special or iconic...his ACTIONS do.
9.What do you think about the new law pasted in Arizona, giving cops the right to pull over anyone they please based on ethnic decent, to prevent illegal immigration? I don't have any problems with it really. As a country, we aren't barring anyone from applying for citizenship, but they must go through the proper naturalization channels, much as our ancestors did. Granted those channels are more complex now than 100 years ago, but there is still a system. If you come into this country illegally, you are breaking our laws. Therefore, off you go back to your own country. No one needs to be hurt, but this DOES mean that breaking the law isn't tolerated.
10.What are you thoughts on legalizing marijuana? Again, I see no problem with it. Here you have a plant that gives many people relief from their anxieties, treats the pain of cancer patients, and actually helps with medical conditions like glaucoma. Additionally, I just simply don't see any problems with people wanting to feel good by that method if they so choose. Alcohol is legal and can kill you if you overuse it, and yet we allow millions of people every year in this country slowly kill themselves with it. Why single marijuana out? There is a paranoia in the conservative community that if this stuff is legalized there will be some sort of an economic and social apolcalypse, that people will simply stop showing up for work, stop caring for their families, and that the fabric of our way of life will break down. I am a conservative and I'm here to say that that is simply nonsense. Come on people...do your research.
11.What drove you to the Skinhead Oi! scene? Well I was a punk kid for most of my early teen years...but by the time I was 16 or 17 my attitudes and opinions about life were changing. I didn't find any meaning in the punk lyrics...and to me all the talk about anarchy and smashing society seemed unproductive and bland. I was attracted to Skinhead as a fashion because I loved the clean cut look and the orderliness of the dress and neatness of the style. Musically, I was more attracted to the gruffer, more deliberate vocals of Oi!...as well as the sound which I describe as both hard-hitting and melodic at the same time.
12.What do you think about the American Skinhead scene? Good? Bad? Do you think other countries have a better scenes? I have to say that my overall opinion of the American Skinhead scene has become less positive over the last 5 years or so. I'm not sure what happened, but it seems as though the close-knit, family-and-friends oriented spirit that pervaded the scene prior to this has vanished, in favor of everything under the sun really...from people who call themselves skinheads but know nothing about the music or culture...to hardcore drug addicts, wife beaters and just plain scummy people...to this sort of liberalized "anything goes" policy in terms of morals or lack thereof.''to people who are just plain ignorant, and who use the "working class" label as an excuse to not get education, or to not educate themselves on anything outside of the skinhead subculture. I am by no means saying that all American Skinheads are like this, as I know several who aren't, but it just seems to have been my experience more recently. Also, the rise in politics dominating the scene instead of simple comradeship and fun has made more a lot more headaches than I would care for. As for other countries, I wouldn't say other countries have BETTER scenes, but I really admire the scenes in Germany and especially in England. I lived in London for about 6 months back in 2007, and I got to travel around a bit and hang out with some members of the ICF, as well as meeting people like Gary Hodges from the 4-Skins etc., and I have to say that, even though the scene in England is quite small compared to the 1980's and made up mostly of aging guys and a handful of young skins, that the passion for their subculture, good humor, and respect that they all show each other is something I really wish I saw more in the States these days.
13.What are your thoughts on R.A.C.? Personally? I love it. I tend to like the more Oi!-sounding side of R.A.C. as opposed to the more hardcore or metal influenced projects, but generally it's a favorite genre for me. I do not agree with the overtly racist or supremacist stances of some of the bands, but I do understand where the anger comes from for sure. I enjoy it more because R.A.C. makes some great points about the social, economic and everyday life challenges of the hard-working people in America and Europe, and their resistance to being controlled by Communist ideals.
14.What are you top 10 favorite bands? Well that is always a difficult question, but here's the ones that come to mind after thinking about it for a bit. The Ramones, The Pogues, Skrewdriver, The Rolling Stones, U.S. Bombs, Bruce Springsteen, Flatfoot 56, Cockney Rejects, Hudson Falcons, The Jam, Discipline, Agnostic Front. That's a few more than 10, but that's the kind of stuff that I get into.
15.Are there any bands you think didn't get enough credit while they were around? Badlands from the Netherlands. They and their lead guitarist and singer Viktor Nefkens really brought the concept of fusing acoustic folk songs with Oi! music as far as I can tell, and they were a HUGE influence on me. They sang about pride in your country, about the importance of keeping your traditions alive against rapidly changing times, and about not letting the dangers of political correctness trap your mind when you know the truth. A fantastic band.
16.What are some new or current bands that you have taken a liking to? In the U.S. I have been liking a lot of the stuff that has been coming out of the Midwest lately. Bands like CL1 and First Offense from OH have really given me something to look forward too. Also, I hate to sound like a kiss ass, but Crucial Change is quite honestly one of few U.S. Oi! bands I've heard in recent years that has something real to say and has the sound, passion and energy to back it up...and "33" is one of my favorite albums right now. There's also a great 3-piece outfit from Northern England called Gimp Fist that I really like as well...so check them out, as well as Booze & Glory, a new London Oi! group. Finally, Flatfoot 56, as always, puts out quality records.
17.You strike me as a guys who like to study history a lot. Who's you favorite historical figure and why? That too is a tough question. I would say that I greatly admire figures like Andrew Jackson, who so blatantly made an effort to, and eventually destroyed, the Second National Bank of the United States, who at the time had much of the nation's wealth contained in that single institution, and which, as a result concentrated much of the wealth in the hands of the rich. Basically, he didn't let anything stand in his way when he felt something needed to be done for the overall good of the country.
18.Any last words, thanks, or shout outs? Well I'd like to that you for giving me an open forum in which to speak my mind and promote my music, so thank you. Shout outs? I'd like to give a shout out to all the conservative skins in this country who want to keep our ideals and traditions alive. God and Country. And last words? Oi! Folking Oi!...but also, I would like to point out that, even though I talk about politics and my opinions freely, that Suckered In is in no way solely a political band. I write songs about social issues, what I see in the world, love, death, history, and life in general, but nothing that is expressly political. My goal is to make simple music with a strong, passionate message free from any political slanting of any kind. Nothing more, nothing less.
Debuting in 1988 with their album "Patriotic Voice", Arresting Officers were the first American Oi! band to bring balls, and melody to a microphone. Yes, you can say that they were right-wing, and in some cases racist, but there has not been an American Oi! band that hasn't in someway, ripped-off a little bit of Arresting Officers in their sound. Rock-O-Rama released both full length albums, "Patriotic Voice" and later, "Land and Heritage". They were also feature on a compilation that featured Skrewdriver, Brutal Attack, and Young Blood. After Arresting Officers called it quits in 1991, the members went on to form the bands Limecell and Sons of Liberty who would end up releasing a split 7' together, of one Arresting Officers cover each. The band Storm Officers was formed as well, which was members of "Arresting Officers" and Stormwatch. Lineup: Bob:Vocals Steve:Guitar Brian:Drums Patriotic Voice (Rock-O-Rama 1988) 01. Coup de Masse is a current Oi! band from Montreal, CA. If you are a fan of French Oi! then this is a band for you. It is very easy to tell they are fans of bands like Brutal Combat, Trouble Makers, West Side Boys, and other French speaking classics. They recently put out an album on Pure-Impact Records entitled "Mourir pour Viver" which is set to turn some heads. They also did a split with "Crane de Fer", put out an earlier album entitled "Macule de Sang..." aswell as being feature on "Bords De Seine Promo Vol. 2" compilation in 2008. Coup De Masse also shares members with the band Bootprint and No Allience.

Argentinean band Comando Suicida got their start in 1983, only a year after The Falklands War. Being one of the first punk bands to come out Argentina, they put out a sound that could be related to some of the earliest Oi! bands like The Last Resort, Cock Sparrer, and The 4 Skins. Dealing with subjects such as, soccer, violence, class, the drug trade, and illegal immigration, Comando Suicida preached a message of patriotism. The band broke up in 1995, but in 2002, lead singer Sergio recruited all new members to ignite the band once more. The new line up of Comando Suicida recorded a new album in 2004.
Original Line Up: Sergio – Vocals Key – Guitar El Mariskal – Bass Fernán - Drums
Brassic is a up and coming Oi! band from the Southern California area. With their old school sound, any fan of Skrewdriver or Brutal Attack should have this new band on their radar.
1. What's yous name, what do you play, and how did “Brassic” start out? Well i'm mongo, the singer and bassist of Brassic. We started out in the beginning of 2008. We went through some trouble with finding a solid guitarist untill Clyde joined in the summer of 08. Originally, we had a british singer, who was the one that came up with the band name. Due to immigration issues he had to move back to england so i took over duties on the mic
2. What do you all do for work? Skinner, our drummer works at UPS throwing boxes around. Clyde works at a law firm fighting 'da man' and i work fulltime in the national guard as a blackhawk mechanic.
3. We’ve been hearing about a full length album for some time now. When can we expect it out? Well i believe one more trip to the studio should wrap up the album. It looks like it's only going to be a ten track album now, but that might change. Hopefully by the end of this summer it'll be released. It should be worth the wait. American oi has yet to see what we have in stored.
4. What are some of the subject matters we can expect from “Brassic”? Well the lyrics are real diverse. Some songs like "benders" are out right straight to the point. Other songs such as "Infestation", in my opinion are more generalized so you can have your own interpetation of it. We cover a wide spectrum of topics. From my gripes about today's dying skinhead scene, to the bullshit politics the media seems to be forcefeeding us today. I'm sure to offend just about everyone though, you can count on that haha
5. You’re from southern California, which has a reputation for harboring a big WP skinhead scene. How does “Brassic” fit in with being a skinhead band in southern California? haha, funny part about that is LA has no white people... let alone a WP scene. Orange County however, has a huge WP and right wing scene. They're on their own sheet of music though. Not too many real skinheads... more prison nazi's and drugged up retards. The funny part about that scene is, they're more accepting to people of other races than the SHARPS. The SHARPS around the LA area are pure mexican and more anti white, than anti WP. They all brand us as white power, although our drummer is fully mexican... And the OC guys tend to accept for the most part. Fuck them all is what i say!
6. What do you think about the S.H.A.R.P. skinhead scene in America? The sharp scene is just silly. Today it's just fueled by internet fat fucking retards with no values or real connection to the skinhead scene. For example, there's a huge sharp gang here in the LA area, but we say they only exist when there's more than five of them at a certain place. If they don't have numbers with them, they don't claim to be anything. Sharp has always been silly to me. I think we all know what oi! is, and what it started out to be at this point...
7. You just got back from doing some shows in Brazil. How was it set up, and how were the shows? The shows were amazing. It's good to know some countries still keep the skinhead scene pure from idiots... well for the most part. The skinheads down there were all right wing and stuck together. Much like how i think it should be in general. They don't understand all the bullshit we go through, and again they are spoiled with a good scene. The shows came about by us acting on our itch to play there. We heard about an Endstufe gig there last year and decided to get in contact with the people that put on that show. Possibly our best decision as a band yet! We're slowly in talks for putting on a HUGE international gig there in 2014 when the world cup is going on...
8. How are your shows in the States? What kinds of people come out to support you? Well, we get a good mix of people. A lot of older punks, right wing skinheads and rockasillies tend to make it out. We play some violent oi! so i try to put on a comedy routine inbetween songs.... i've been known to rant on about jim beam and end up drinking several shirly temples while on stage... And of course our viking helmets have been known to come out as well. I deny all accusations of playing in a german beer girl dress and wig....
9. When did you start getting into the Oi!? What Oi! bands really moved you into making music? I got into oi! as a teenager. Growing up in southern california punk rock was easily accessible so i was into that scene and sort of migrated over into oi. I grew up in a working class family so the values were already sort of inbeded in me. Now the music to me is hard for most people to understand. I love the aggression of oi! Bands that really got me going were the 4skins, Skrewdriver, Blitz and the Business. I think Skrewdriver was the biggest influence in starting a skinhead band overall, them and Brutal Attack
10. What are you top 5 favorite bands? Brutal Attack Arresting Officers Condemned 84 Skrewdriver Skullhead
11. 5 top albums? Brutal Attack - As the Drum Beats Skullhead - White Warrior Skrewdriver - Boots & Braces/Voice of Britain (although it's a comp and not really an album) Condemed 84 - No one likes us... We don't Care Brutal Attack - Stronger Than Before
12. 5 top songs? (this one's tough...) Brutal Attack - Return of St. George Skullhead - Townmoor Festival Condemned 84 - Here They Come Again Brutal Attack - Under the Hammer Skrewdriver - Back with a Bang
13. Are there any bands that you think got over looked in the past or didn’t get enough credit while they were around? Sure, there are loads. I don't think Arresting Officers got much credit while they were around.. but now seem to have blown up. I think the Subway Thugs were amazing as well.
14. What are some current or new bands you are into from the Oi! scene? Code 1 has me hooked with their full length. Alternate Action is pretty solid as well. On File isn't really new, but their new album is awesome haha. Lately i've had Les Villians on my speakers. Sad to say america is lacking in the oi! scene with the exception of three bands...
15. Do you think America has a good Oi! scene or, do you think other countries have better bands coming out as of resent. Oh i think europe has way more solid bands than we do. Shit, even canada has more oi bands than us. We've always lacked in the oi! department though so that's no surprise to me. Belguim seems to be pumping out bands like crazy right now though.
16. Do you have any other big plans for the wrest of 2010? Well, we plan on bring OI! back to OC late this year with an international gig. As soon as certain bands confirm i'll give out more information about it. We're in talks of playing chicago with teh Wes Side boys later this year as well. Also we'll be releasing a live album with B.D.C. from brazil, as well as a 7" with those guys on Hostile Class Records.
17. Any last words, thanks, or shout outs? well thanks for the interview, we really appreciate it. keep up the good work and keep oi alive! Cheers to all the BSB an SP skins of Brazil! As well as all the Serbian skins! KOSOVO IS SERBIA!

The Headhunters were a side project band from the members of Ultima Thule. Hailing from Sweden, these guys set the viking rock riffs aside to make their debut EP for The Headhunters entitled "Hunting for Heads!" in 1998 on Dim Records, which followed a more straight forward punk and Oi! sound. The band chose topics like drinking with friends, and what it means to be a skinhead, rather than viking mythology which they usually cover in Ultima Thule. They also released a 7" entitled "Escape The Grave" on Haunted Town Records in 2002, and 2 full length albums called "Eat This Dickhead" and "Give Us Some Heads!" both on Dim Records. The Headhunters were also featured on "Never Say Die (Vol. 2)" compilation put out by Sick Mind records in 2000.
